Hello Band Directors!

The mission of New Mexico Drum Major Camp is to provide high quality, accessible conducting and leadership education for high school drum majors. Our 2024 workshop will be our third year and we are excited to invite your students to join us June 17th & 18th. A detailed schedule can be found on our schedule page, but our lessons include: basic conducting, leading a band, cues/crescendos/etc, individualized conducting feedback, show conducting suggestions, and more.

As former drum majors in New Mexico, our volunteer team is focused on giving our knowledge back to future student leaders. We draw upon our years of experience in high school band, at other drum major camps, and teaching as drum major techs to instill your students with strong conducting and leadership fundamentals.
